MALLIKA ARYAL
Mallika Aryal was born in Nepal and works as a reporter in Kathmandu. She writes for Nepali Times and Inter Press Service. She is the Co-director of Film South Asia, festival of Southasian documentaries in Kathmandu. She studied at Mount Holyoke College and has lived in India, Sri Lanka, the US and UK. In Fall 2010 she is heading back to graduate school in New York.
NAN MELVILLE
Nan Melville is a South African photographer and videographer based in New York. She is the director of Nrityagram: For the Love of Dance. She freelances for organizations such as The Juilliard School, Lincoln Center and The New York Times where she initiated the use of video for the Arts review section on the web. She has worked with many dance companies including the Alvin Ailey Dance Theater, American Ballet Theatre, Limón Dance Company, Dance Brazil, Martha Graham Dance Company, The Royal Ballet London, The Bolshoi Ballet, and the National Ballet
of Cuba.
